High School Physics

Experiment: Fill a glass with ice cubes and to the top of the glass with water. Carefully place the glass on a paper towel or newspaper. Place the glass in sunlight, if possible, and watch the ice slowly melt.

Question: Pick an answer.

1. The water will overflow onto the paper.
2. The water level will drop.
3. There will be no change in the water level.

Answer is below for those of you that will accept
the results without testing the experiment yourself.
