High School Physics

Experiment: Fill a glass with ice cubes and to the top of the glass with water. Carefully place the glass on a paper towel or newspaper. Place the glass in sunlight, if possible, and watch the ice slowly melt.

Question: Pick an answer.

1. The water will overflow onto the paper.
2. The water level will drop.
3. There will be no change in the water level.
